Product Details

Compensating Cable

I. Product Description

A special cable used to compensate for measurement errors caused by changes in ambient temperature.

Extends the cold junction of the thermocouple to a location with relatively stable temperature, thereby reducing the impact of cold junction temperature fluctuations on measurement results.

This product is suitable for connecting thermocouples to recorders, computers, and data processing systems in control systems with a rated voltage of 300/500 V.

II. Executive Standards

The production of compensating cables and compensating conductors shall comply with standards such as GB/T4989-94 and JB/T7495-94.

Notes:

1. For other types of compensating conductors (such as KC, JX, SC, EX, NC, TX), only the first part of the model needs to be modified, e.g., EX-G-VV, TX-H-FVP, etc.

1. When multi-strand flexible cores are required for the conductor, "R" shall be added after the original model, e.g., TX-G-VVPR.

1. Compensating cables with polyethylene (Y) insulation or cross-linked polyethylene (YJ) insulation can also be provided as required.

1. The shield layer of the compensating cable can also adopt a metal tape wrapping form, such as composite aluminum tape (P3) and composite copper tape (P2).

1. For flame-retardant compensating cables, "ZR-" shall be added before the original model.

1. For armored compensating cables, "-22" shall be added after the original model to indicate steel tape armoring; "-32" shall be added to indicate steel wire armoring.
