Jinan Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese Hosts Women’s Innovation and Entrepreneurship Exchange Event at Shandong Hualing Cable

On the afternoon of March 6, a delegation from the Jinan Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese visited Shandong Hualing Cable Co., Ltd. to organize an innovation and entrepreneurship exchange event for overseas Chinese women in Jinan to celebrate International Women’s Day. Approximately 60 participants attended the event, including Ruan Shiman, Director of the Jinan Medical Security Bureau and Part-time Vice Chair of the Federation; Zhu Xueting, Secretary-General and First-level Researcher of the Federation; Liu Hongwei, Second-level Inspector of the Jinan Disabled Persons' Federation; Li Lihua, Vice Chair of the Women’s Federation; Fang Jing, First-level Researcher of the Municipal Judicial Bureau; Su Jie, Political Commissar of the Exit-Entry Administration of the Public Security Bureau; members of the Qiaoyuan Association, and representatives of overseas Chinese women. Zhang Xinjian, Member of the Standing Committee of the Zhangqiu District Party Committee, Minister of the Organization Department, and Minister of the United Front Work Department, along with relevant officials and Li Ziqi, Party Secretary of Shengjing Sub-district, accompanied the tour. Wang Wei, President of Shandong Hualing Cable Co., Ltd., and other leaders hosted the reception.

The staff introduced the basic situation of the China-Belarus New Materials Industrial Park to the delegation, with a focus on its development in e-commerce, cultural entertainment, and modern services. The park covers an area of about 370 mu, with a total construction area of about 400,000 square meters, featuring standardized intelligent workshops, R&D centers, sci-tech incubation centers, office buildings, apartments, and other supporting facilities. As the first M0-type industrial land demonstration park in Shandong Province, it has attracted more than 40 high-end intelligent manufacturing enterprises, becoming a new industrial park that integrates industrial chain collaboration, resource aggregation, and service system development. The delegation highly praised the park's achievements in scientific research and application, green intelligent manufacturing, new material development, high-end equipment, and smart logistics.

In the Hualing Cable exhibition hall, the delegation learned in detail about Hualing Cable’s development history, product R&D, corporate culture, and its achievements and contributions in five key sectors: nuclear power, rail transit, new materials, and more. President Wang Wei gave a detailed presentation on the company's product performance, innovation results, and industry advantages in fields such as nuclear power and new materials. Hualing Cable’s efforts to address the domestic cable industry’s reliance on non-independently developed materials were widely recognized.

At the Kehua Saibang exhibition hall, staff introduced the progress of joint R&D projects with the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus. Various composite materials, including low-temperature-resistant nylon, carbon fiber, high-performance modified nylon, polyester materials, and 3D additive manufacturing materials, were showcased. These materials feature lightweight, high and low-temperature resistance, enhanced strength, and toughness, and are widely used in rail transit, automobile manufacturing, and civilian sectors. The delegation gave high praise to technological achievements such as low-temperature-resistant corrugated pipes, lightweight automotive components, high-protection safety helmets/cycling helmets, and lightweight construction templates.

Ruan Shiman, Director of the Jinan Medical Security Bureau and Part-time Vice Chair of the Federation, expressed gratitude for the successful organization of the exchange event, acknowledged Hualing Cable’s industry status and technological innovations, and expressed the hope that this exchange would serve as an opportunity to strengthen internal industry exchanges within the Federation, achieving mutual benefits and win-win outcomes.
