Touring the China-Belarus New Materials Industrial Park

The delegation began their visit at the China-Belarus New Materials Industrial Park, Shandong Province's first M0 mixed-use innovation industrial park and a provincial-level key project. Vice President Dong Xiaozhu presented the park's role in advanced R&D, green intelligent manufacturing, new materials development, high-end equipment production, and smart logistics integration.

The park, which represents a fourth-generation industrial campus model, serves as Hualing Cable's innovation hub — combining industry chain integration, resource aggregation, and collaborative service systems under one roof.

Showcasing Nuclear-Grade Technology and Innovation

At Hualing Cable's exhibition center, the Ambassador received a comprehensive briefing on the company's development history, R&D capabilities, and market achievements across five strategic sectors: nuclear power, rail transit, new materials, new energy, and high-end equipment manufacturing.

Chief Engineer Xing Lijiang highlighted Hualing's breakthrough in domesticating high-performance cable materials — a sector long dominated by foreign suppliers. "For years, China's premium cable industry relied on imported polymer materials. Hualing Cable has successfully bridged this gap through independent R&D and international collaboration," Xing explained. The Ambassador expressed strong recognition of this achievement.

Advanced Composite Materials: From Lab to Industry

The visit continued at the Kehuasaibang New Materials exhibition hall, a Hualing subsidiary jointly developed with the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus. The delegation reviewed commercialized products including:

The Ambassador gave particularly high praise to the low-temperature corrugated tubing, automotive lightweight components, high-protection safety helmets, and lightweight construction formwork — all demonstrating Hualing's ability to translate materials science into practical industrial solutions.

Factory Floor: Smart Manufacturing at Scale

The delegation conducted on-site inspections of Hualing's intelligent rail transit cable workshopelectron-beam irradiation center, and automotive wire harness production facility. They reviewed equipment configuration, workforce capabilities, production capacity, and quality control systems — gaining firsthand insight into Hualing's manufacturing excellence.

Strategic Dialogue: Bridging Ghana and Hualing

During the formal symposium, Vice President Dong presented a systematic analysis of Hualing's competitive advantages, technological strengths, and international market vision.

Ambassador Bonsu expressed strong confidence in Hualing Cable's industry position and product capabilities. He provided a detailed overview of Ghana's market resources, investment policies, and infrastructure priorities, emphasizing that the Ghanaian Embassy in China would actively serve as a bridge — offering policy support and resource matching to facilitate Hualing's market entry.

A New Gateway to West Africa

This high-level visit not only strengthened mutual trust between the two parties but also opened a concrete pathway for Hualing Cable's expansion into the West African market.

Ghana, as one of Africa's most stable democracies and fastest-growing economies, presents significant opportunities in:

  • Power infrastructure: Grid expansion and modernization projects

  • Renewable energy: Solar and hydropower development

  • Rail transit: Emerging rail network construction

  • Construction: Rapid urbanization driving building wire demand

  • Mining: Ghana is Africa's largest gold producer, requiring specialized mining cables

"Hualing Cable will leverage this embassy-level relationship to deepen cooperation with Ghanaian government agencies and enterprises," said Vice President Dong. "We are committed to exploring joint opportunities in infrastructure, new energy, and industrial development that deliver mutual benefit."

Shandong Hualing Cable Co., Ltd. is a national high-tech enterprise specializing in nuclear power cables, ultra-low-temperature cables, rail transit cables, new energy cables, and high-performance composite materials.
